I've just read this article and how utterly devastating. We holiday in Norfolk and likely would have let our children go on this.

Sharing because it's so very sad and also to highlight. Thinking of the poor family who lost their little girl.

Not the only inflatable incident unfortunately. There was one where a boy was in an inflatable ball on a pool, and he was flung into the air by a gust of wind. Luckily he survived, but had terrible injuries.
It makes you wonder why these things are still allowed.

I rarely go on fairground rides now I'm older, haven't done for years as I'm more wary of the risks and cautious of the safety procedures. Yet I've allowed my children on various small rides, bouncy castles etc. I think I'll steer clear of these inflatable trampolines. Just can't be sure of their safety and not worth the risk. But I wouldn't have had any idea before reading that article.
