Chicken pox normally start on the chest or back and come on quite quickly. They're also worse in warm areas
I'd agree with PP and say HFM

Foodylicious · 09/11/2023 19:59

Much more likely hand foot and mouth.

fourelementary · 09/11/2023 20:00

Another vote for HFM it can make them realy
miserable. It’s sore. Poor bub.

Hall84 · 09/11/2023 20:02

Hand foot and mouth vote here. The pox spots start of more spots and turn into blisters

musicinspring1 · 09/11/2023 20:05

Another vote for hand foot and mouth. If you can't get a GP appointment some pharmicists are decent at casting an eye on spots for a second opinion

ChallaMama · 09/11/2023 20:28

Awwww poor thing.
Looks just like HFM as other PPs have said. My LO had it at around 11mo. Very uncomfortable but I don't remember how long it lasted. Perhaps 10 days.
Wishing your baby well.

Another vote for hand foot mouth. We’ve just had it. Little one went off his food for a few days and was really not himself but all you can do is give calpol. I bought the chickenpox mousse (you can get it in pharmacies) because he kept trying to scratch the rash on his buttocks and it worked wonders. Baby was most poorly days 2-5 after the spots appeared and then picked up on day 5.
