My baby puts her hands in my mouth for comfort

My baby is 6 months old and likes to put her hands/fingers in or around my mouth. Sometimes she will only fall asleep if I allow her to do this. Sometimes it can be painful and quite annoying 😩🙈. I have tried to give her comforters, soft toys and blankets but she’s not interested. I’m wondering if anyone’s baby has had this habit and if anyone has any tips to help stop this.

My baby is the same age and does the same thing, except he also likes to grab my chin and nose as well as my mouth! I haven’t tried too hard to stop him, I find it quite sweet lol apparently it’s a sign of affection. The main thing I do is keep his nails trimmed, otherwise it gets a bit painful!

Oh god this brings back memories or Dd twiddling my frigging nipples whilst bf go go to sleep. Honestly horrible 😂

She did grow out of it! I basically just stopped her doing it all the time and it annoyed her too much to keep trying.
