Cal Gel Teething. HELP have I given him too much?

Long story short my 7 month old baby is seriously struggling with teething. He has 2 bottom teeth but I think more bottom teeth and the top two are on the way. This has been going on for the last 5 days. Crying all day and night. We’ve been given him calpol and nurofen for children, works for a short while. I gave him a sachet of Nelson’s crystals about 2 hours ago, not sure it did much. My husbands just rushed in with some calgel. I put a blob on the top gums which he swallowed mostly and another lot on the bottom. I’ve stupidly just read the instructions which said 1 blob! Not 2! DS is now fast asleep on my chest. A deep sleep. He’s breathing and isn’t overly hot or cold. Should I be thanking my lucky stars that we’ve found something that actually works, or is there something wrong and I’ve given him too much and he’s actually in danger. I don’t know what to do. If he’s just comfortable and sleeping then I want to leave him alone. We’ve both been up since 11pm last night. Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Don't worry, he won't be in danger.

I wouldn't worry about it. What is a blob is subjective and for all you know the two blobs you have given could be the same as another person's one blob.
Now you know though I would use just the one but don't stress about having done it once.

Thanks all. He’s now awake, had a little pot of custard and smiling at Madagascar on Tv! 🙈🙈😭😭
