Baby refusing bottle and upset stomach

My 8 month old DD has had barely anything to drink today, my parents have been looking after her as I was at work and they’ve said she will only have a couple of ounces at a time and then was flatly refusing any more. She has eaten a petit filous yogurt but she isn’t having proper meals yet, I’ve tried to tempt her with some more food but she doesn’t seem interested.

She’s also done four dirty nappies so far today, and did the same yesterday and one through the night, which is very unusual for her (she usually does one or two poos a day, and never through the night.)

She seems happy in herself and doesn’t have a temperature or anything but I’m obviously worried about her being hungry/dehydrated. Does anyone know what could be causing it? Should I take her to the GP tomorrow?

Just try to encourage her to drink water. If she is having fluids and has no signs of dehydration- sucken/sticky eyes, pale complexion, latagetic etc and she seems fine she is probably just a little under the weather. But if no improvement in a couple days then see GP. Or showing signs of dehydration.

Other thought is you say your parents have looked after her today, have they had her before? Only asking as a friends dd refused to drink upon starting nursery and was put down to anxieties.

@Donimo thank you! She has finally had a 7oz bottle just before bed but that’s more than she’s had all day. She spends a lot of time with my parents and always has done, so I don’t think it can be anxiety related. we’re hoping it might just be a bit of a bug that will hopefully pass soon!
