I have always bought clarks but saw some nice little start rite shoes. Would anyone recommend? And how does the sizing differ from clarks? Measuring ting feet is one of my least favourite things 😋

Try Bobux - great for infant/first shoes.

We use startrite over Clarks and I disliked that Clarks would only offer my daughter shoes from the girls section. I find startrite have less gendered shows too. You can get some good bargains in clearance section too!
Last time we bought shoes we did get some in the Clarks sale. We used our startrite foot gauge to measure her feet and her Clarks shoes fit as expected

@Superscientist so the sizes are the same then? I only have a clarks foot gauge measuring 4.5F

Start rite are much better quality than Clarks and are a long respected brand.

Ah close to my daughters size! She had just grown out of 4.5F startrite and a bought 5F Clarks for her next shoes and the were the right size for us!
If I measure from the back of the gauge to the 4.5 mark it is 15cm exactly
