Hi

I used Hedrin Shampoo earlier after finding a few nits, combed out the hair and found a couple more live ones. I am wondering whetherto use Hedrin once as a double whammy later this week? Any tips as I hear its very greasy? Is it gel then shampoo out?

I’m sure it says to use it again in a week as a follow up but in my experience use it, comb every day twice a day then use it again after a week and comb again to make sure.
Also wash all bedding and towels (I did coats too) and hair brushes.

I actually ended up using Hedrin Once last night on DD1 - only had enough for her so need to get another bottle for DC2 and 3 this evening.

It is very greasy (top tip - if you can spray it on outside - if you get it on a hardfloor it is really, really slippery and a PITA to clean up). Spray it in and comb it through - then leave 15 mins. I then do a thorough nit comb even though it is not on the instructions.

Then shampoo out - it normally takes at least a couple of shampoos - and condition as usual.

It's always worked for my DC (until the next bloody time) but I always do another couple of condition and combs a week and a couple of weeks later to catch anything I might have missed.

Thanks all, my scalp is itchy but no sign of anything but maybe its just been aggrevated by the all in one. Kids too. I wasn't sure whether to use Once as well today but might try it towards the end or the week

Bumping again. So I've been brushing since using the Hedrin all in one on Sunday. Found one live louse on each yesterday, then one today. Does this mean it didn't work? I had planned to wash with tea tree shampoo tmw/thu then do another treatment (Hedrin Once) on Friday when we have no school the day after.
