Sleep deprivation

Looking for any experience or advice.
3 month old EBF, started a routine of bath, feed and bed starting at 6pm but she is taking hours to fall asleep, basically the only thing that will comfort her and put her to sleep is feeding which I don’t mind but as soon as I transfer her to her crib she wakes up and cries.
I am desperate for some solid sleep and also for just a little of my evening back as last night she didn’t go to sleep until 12am awake again at 2am.
During the day she only naps being held or in her pram or the car, again fed to sleep.
Should I just put her down and try settle her without the breast? I do try to rock or shh/pat in her crib but eventually end up just feeding her. I have tried dummy but just spits it out. Tried her with white noise and without doesn’t seem to make much difference. If she fed to sleep then stayed asleep I wouldn’t mind but she won’t. Should I change bedtime?

At 3 months I just used to keep them downstairs with me until I went to bed. They'd either feed to sleep or sleep in the Moses basket.

If they'd cluster fed a lot, I'd hand them over to DH to hold and go to bed for a couple of hours solid sleep.

It will get better and I'd recommend the No Cry Sleep Solution.

Mine is 3mo and the exact same, I can only tell you what works for us!

Formula fed DC1 self settled from day one and I worked very hard on naps and bedtime routine.

DC2... EBF with a toddler around means absolutely no time to teach sleep so she only naps on me, in pram or car.

At night she has a bath at 6:30, pyjamas on and then I feed her side-lying on our bed and leave her there once she's fallen asleep.

If I tried to move her then she would wake up, but when I transfer her when we go to bed she stays asleep. Worth a try x

@luckbealadytonight
Thank you, it’s interesting that your formula fed baby could self settle, honestly if she would take a bottle I would give her one. I have no excuse for not working harder with naps I just think I’m a clueless first time mum 😂 funnily enough I did the same tonight and breastfed her side lying after a few failed attempts at putting her into her own bed and left her sleeping beside me for a while and she’s been asleep since half past 8!
