Tips for 3 year age gap?

Shortly due a baby girl, already have a 7 year old and twins that are 3.

Bit nervous about the age gap - gap between eldest andboys was 4 years, so eldest was pretty independent in terms of toilet, sleep, clothing etc. She was also settled at preschool and very good at entertaining herself.

Nervous about the smaller age gap this time - my boys seem so young and dependent! would love to hear how others have found it and if you have any good tips for managing.

No tips at all? Hopefully because absolutely nobody has ever had any sibling issues with that gap 😅

Had a three yr age gap and no problems at all.I would suggest that difficulties will arise in a year or two when you are trying to find things to do that will suit a two year old and a nine year old. The boys have each other anyway.

I had a three year gap and loved it. Potty training was sorted, settled into preschool with his own friends and life - really excited to be a big bro. Could really understand waiting and being gentle.

I had a 3 year age gap - I remember it being challenging in the early days when newborn wanted to bf constantly. I had a special ‘feeding box’ of toys that my DD3 was only allowed to play with when baby was feeding. This helped keep her occupied a little! X
