Labelling nursery clothes

I’ve labelled all other clothes using the Stikins name labels, but not sure how to label socks, gloves etc as there’s no clothes care labels to stick the labels on to. When I stuck the labels on to the fabric of the socks, the labels came off in the wash. Any ideas?

I personally don't bother with socks (and I'm generally very good at labelling everything, but life's too short to label a sock). You can get ink stamps, though, which might be worth a try?

I would also question whether you need to label socks. I only bother with things I’m more attached to. We do have an ink stamp which I’ve used to label some moccasins which seems to work but I’m not sure how many washes it will last.

I bought some of the iron on MyNametags (as well as Stikins🤦‍♀️) which I use for socks and gloves and so on because they will stick to the fabric and don't need a label.

Only did so once DC started school though, didn't worry for nursery.

I'm another one who doesn't name socks. We've actually lost very few despite the lack of naming!

For gloves, I put stikins on the outside of the glove on the wrist and am prepared to replace the labels every so often as they do sometimes fall off.

I don't name socks. Pre walking her socks came off quite a lot and we had one or two cases where she came home without them but I tried to colour coordinated blue t shirt so blue socks sort of thing or distinction she was wearing the tiger socks.
We always got them home the next day

I know this is from a while ago but I tried these little button-type tags from a place called attach-a-tag. Found they're pretty hardy and not had any complaints from my daughter so far.
