11month old very upset with sleeves

Hi I am a FTM so looking for some advice hopefully. My 11month old nearly 1yr old DD seems to be very upset and holds her arms to show me as if they are sore or she is in pain the last two weeks. We have brought her to A & E to get checked in case she had hurt them when maybe falling over she has recently started to walk but X-ray was fine but if it continues to bring her back to get get some bloods taken which seems worrying. This evening she has got extremely upset so will take her to A & E in the morning. Initially it was her right arm and still is more so but she does also do it with the left sometimes. She is hitting all her milestones and recently had her development check which HV was more than happy with it. She is using her hands and arms both fine to clap, wave, crawl on etc. However it seems to be when her sleeves touch her hands past her wrists or when the sleeve gos up her arms any bit or are pulled up for her when she is eating, getting hands cleaned etc. she starts screaming crying and showing me her hands and arms and is also now gets so upset getting her coat on and holding her wrists. Sorry for the long post and if I have not explained properly but I am worried there is something seriously wrong and we are missing something and hope maybe some more experienced mums/dads may be able to offer some advice. TIA

That sounds strange and I can see why you are concerned. You may have already done this but if not have you tried leaving her in just t shirts to see if she is still distressed?

Could it be a sensory issue? I hope she isn’t injured but wondered if it were a sensory thing where she cannot bear anything touching her wrists? Sounds so worrying for you I hope you find the cause soon

Thank you so much for your quick replies @Newuser75 & @Mama2six. Yes so we have tried in her in short sleeves and she does seem noticeably better but does still get upset sometimes which I do think is when something touch's her arms ie.her bib which I presume this could indicate then maybe a sensory issue? If this is what is happening our DD I feel so horrible that could be hurting her then putting a jumper, coat on her to go out but with the weather been so cold I feel we have no other choice to keep her warm. Sorry for asking but do you have any advice or experience on what I should do next, could this be a phase or is there a support person that could help us with this. I am sorry for sounding so lost but we really don't know what to do to help our little girl if this is the case. We will still bring her to A & E in the morning to get her checked again and to make sure there is no other underlying condition.
Thank you again for replying.
