PGL is a company that you can go on family hols or send dc alone. I have used it for ds1 twice. He really enjoyed it but some of the instructors were very young.

One of the instructors was caught by my ds and his mates snogging a 14 year old girl

Would use as a family hol but not a dc alone hol.

My ds1 went to Dalguise in Perth (we are in Scotland).

Did stuff like quad biking, high rise adventure stuff so not sure?

Was £500 for a week and he said food/beds were crap so i think it was expensive.

Hmm i know the feeling, although it's the teenager and almost teenager i could do with a break from atm xx

branflake81 · 10/03/2008 16:01

I went to PGL when I was a kid and used to love it. Yes, the instructors are young but they are all fully trained.

aGalChangedHerName · 10/03/2008 22:57

I am sure they are Branflake but i was not impressed with an "fully trained instructor" young or old having a 14 year old girl on his knee, hands up her t-shirt and snogging the face off her.

Would you mind this happening to your dd??

How about booking a selfacatering place on a complex with access to activities, hoseasons do ones like that, I was looking at PGL for an family adventure holiday as I am a single mum, I don't know what it would be like for socialising in the evening but peace and a bottle of wine might be nicer.
