Washing machine black mould and infants

Hello,

I tend to wash my LO's clothes a lot in the washing machine, and today I just realized that black mould has grown on the rubber rim as well as the drawer of the machine.

Now I am worried if pieces of it have been left on her clothes. The program which I run to wash her clothes are usually with water at 20 or 40 degrees celsius.

I am cleaning the mould now with white vinegar, but I do not know how long the mould was in the drawer and on the rubber seal. Why is being a FTM so difficult. You suddenly have to worry about EVERYTHING.
:(

Will she get sick? What can I do?

It will be fine, you’re over thinking it !

She is very unlikely to be sick. Don't worry.

Run a cleaning.cycle regularly. I buy sachets that remove linescale and clean and do the cycle on at least 6o degrees. You do need a hot wash every now ans again also. You should be able to.remove the rubber bit and clean it properly..

The mould removal.can feel.never ending but.you just have to keep on it

Nothing is going to happen OP.

You don't have to worry about everything. You need a proportionate response to the level of risk.
