I have a 6 year old, almost 7 yr old ds who has always been a nightmare in a cafe or restaurant. His 3 yr old brother is better behaved. Ants in his pants, and wants to be up and gone. We can only eat comfortably for longer than 20 mins at places with a soft play. There may be possible ADHD (but waiting to see what school thinks) or he could just be a boisterous wee guy. If not neurodivergent then should he able to sit more at his age? Will it get easier?He's ok if we give him a tablet but don't want that to be the default...
