Hello all, my daughter in now 13 months old and she sleeps through the night, typically from around 7pm to 6am which is wonderful but the problem is that when she wakes up she's absolutely soaking. And I've found this to be the issue since I bought Lidl's Lupilu nappies on a whim because I was in there and thought I'll just grab some while I'm here. They just aren't good. I changed her this morning and she'd wet through her pjs and sleeping bag like wth? 3rd morning in a row of finding her like this. So that's it I need suggestions for good overnight nappies, I don't want to disturb her sleep to keep changing her because of rubbish nappies

I feel like a broken record suggesting this all the time but nothing beats cloth nappies for absorption, especially for night nappies.

Never had a problem with pampers and my son slept through from 3 months old (8pm till 7am)

I usually get Aldi or Asda ones and they're fine. The occasional leak but it's rare. But Christ these Lidl ones are crap. I've bought a massive pack aswell. I'll just have to use them up during the day and get something better for night time

My boy kept doing this, I switched to pampers for night time but it still happened sometimes. I sized up on vests and sleepsuits and it stopped!

Pampers active fit pants

Emma543 · 26/10/2023 06:53

I use the pampers premium protection nappies and found those best but as above make sure vests aren’t too restrictive!

I use the tesco brand pants at night. I find standard nappies don't fit well for such a long stint, so nappy pants are the way to go for a snugger fit. Doesn't have to be pampers or any big brand.

Lidl are rubbish!

Aldi or Asda, I also quite like nutmeg from Morrisons

EmmyLemmyHemmy · 26/10/2023 09:09

naty nappies were very good

Helpmeout124 · 26/10/2023 13:59

I got the cocomelon ones from Tesco a few times and I really liked those ones rascal and friends, thanks for all the replies I picked some up in Asda and now leaks! 👍🏻

We've been out,of nappies for a couple of years now but we used to sweat by Fred & Flo Ultra Dry for nighttime, they came in a green packet.

Burpcloth · 26/10/2023 16:27

I recommend switching to nappy pants for nighttime, and sizing up. Any supermarket brand worked for us versus leaks in traditional nappies.

WeightoftheWorld · 26/10/2023 16:31

Asda or Pampers, but Asda a fraction of the cost so we usually use those.

CattingAbout · 26/10/2023 16:35

pampers baby dry nappy pants - one size up from their usual daytime nappies. Or asda nappy pants (still go up a size) though they are bulkier.

Agree with pp about sizing up the vests as well, so the poppers aren't squeezing the nappy.

We ended up in the + version of nappies for nighttime. Up to size 3 I found Aldi premium nappies brilliant, then bigger they were rubbish. We ended up changing to Pampers + range at night, then normal ones (Sainsbury's) during the day.

When our DD got very wiggly, we moved to nappy pants and found those were better for her due to the stretchy sides.
