Cold and 6 week old baby

Can my 6 week old baby have anything for a cold? I'm a first time mum and have been researching and there seems to be nothing out there to help, i just wondered if anyone had any tips or tricks.

Agree, saline spray (sterimar is good and gentle) and a snot sucker.

Also raise the cot slightly at the head end (couple of books under the legs should do it.
