Seems like we are always teething 😩

She's on her 11/12th

Molars are huge and look so sore - suppose better to get out the way but she's in so much pain and doesn't tend to like anything teething now like she used to

Can't get In her mouth to do gel - sleep is affected and just tired today!!

Anyone else?

Does she have a dummy? My dd won't let me anywhere near her gums for the gel but I've found putting a pea sized amount on her dummy, smearing it around and popping it in her mouth works !
Also I freeze wet flannels and let her chew/suck on them once they've thawed a little which she loves

I've got a 13mo and he's only got 3 but is currently cutting his fourth. What pp said about putting gel on dummy is what I do too, won't let me near his teeth at all. Feels like he's been teething forever 😭 it just messes up all routines especially around eating, drives me nuts. You must have had a nightmare time if they've got all those teeth so soon. Solidarity and hope it evens out soon☺️

It just seems like she's always teething and honestly these molars are huge and really taking their time
She has the bottom ones completely through but the top are only part way
I'll try the dummy thing as I didn't even think
Yes she loves her dummy
I used to be able to get the gel on with this massage pen but since the molars she won't let me anywhere near them!
She's been a grizzly baby and I've put a lot of it down to teeth x

Sounds exactly like my 16 month DD with another nursery bug on top of the teething that’s been going on for weeks/months. She seems to be getting about 6 or more teeth all together at the moment and they are taking ages. It’s so miserable for everyone!

Teething is awful but there does come a glorious day when you realise the last one is through. Good to get them out of the way.

Don't be afraid to use Calpol or ibuprofen, especially at night - we'd take something for toothache that's disturbing our sleep!

Mine had 16 teeth by 17 months so feel your pain! I do feel somewhat relieved we've had most them out the way and only ones left are the back molars!

UnravellingTheWorld · 22/10/2023 17:36

Been there! Mine had 12 teeth by his first birthday, and two months later had 16 in total. All baby teeth are now through (final molars just coming in at his second birthday). I thought it was supposed to take 3 years!!!

You will all get through this. There are only so many teeth to come, and then it's over.

Dd just turned one and she's on her 10th, one molar is through this one is a molar and teething has ramped up some since the molars started shifting 😮‍💨
I feel so awful for her but also just want to get some cooking and cleaning done with both hands available 😂
