Danger naps and tantrums!

My DS is nearly 3. I try to avoid danger naps but they do occasionally happen.

If he has a danger nap in the car he inevitably wakes up FURIOUS. It takes absolutely ages to calm him down and he’s just screaming and refusing to be comforted or reasoned with. It’s just awful. Is this normal?

My DS was like that and the only thing that calmed him was a drink. Didn't matter what the drink was just as long as he got a drink.

You know, I always think this but he’s in such a rage he won’t accept a drink or a snack, just shoves them away screaming. I do find it really hard because everything you do to try to help gets screamed at.
