I tried introducing to my newborn the dummy but all times it has led to her vomiting (either while she has the dummy or a couple of hours later). Has anyone else experienced this? I tried multiple brands.
I don’t really mind if she doesn’t learn to take a dummy, I am just concerned as to why this keeps happening. Do you think she gets easily gag reflex? No problem with feeding using MAM bottles. Or maybe she doesn’t take the dummy properly and swallows air which then leads to vomit?
I should note that she had tongue tie and we took her to an ENT doctor who did a small procedure to correct it but said that we might need to revisit her tongue tie in the future (I think to complete the procedure). Could this have anything to do with it?
