Car seat for 3 door seat ibiza

Hi I was recommended to join mums net to ask if anyone had encountered the same issue as I have. Went into halfords for help with my daughters next car seat. she's 14 months and around 25lbs not sure on the height. I wanted a 360 rf seat for easy access in our 3 door seat ibiza but none of the seats with isofix would reach the isofix slots. She said she has never seen this before and even the belted seats would be an issue as there it would be extremely hard to fit a seat with a belt with there being no tension on the back seatbelts. Am i going to have to change my car or has someone else had this issue and found a car seat to fit in seat ibiza 2010 model please. very stressed at the minute as money is tight and the thought of having to change the car is adding to the stress. thankyou

Halfords are generally a bit crap for car seat advice. Do you mind saying roughly where you are? I can probably find you a rear facing specialist near you that will be able to help.

With three door cars, you have to be careful with spin seats anyway as the button to release the spin isn't always accessible from the front.

When you say the Isofix wouldn't reach what do you mean? Can you remember what seats you tried? Were they using Isofix guides?

And what do you mean about the seatbelts having no tension?

Lastly what car seat are you using now, and is it with an Isofix base?

I found an independent car seat specialist and we went with the axkid move! She confirmed that halfords were basically talking nonsense and that they are very well known for giving untrained advice!
