Looking for as much advice as possible please 🙏🏻
Long story short, at my DD's parents evening, her new teacher (gently) explored the idea that my 9 year may have a SEND need.
She has trouble focusing and with her emotional regulation at school. It's really started to affect her relationships with other children.
The school has sent us some questionnaires to fill in. While filling out the paperwork with DD, it came to light that she's been masking and I believe genuinely has a need I've totally missed. The crux of it all is that she may have ADD.
I've handed in the paperwork to the school, but have no clue where to go from here! Feel totally lost and awful that I hadn't pick up on the signs earlier !
Any advice on what the next steps are?
