Going from 2 - 3 children, Yes or No

I'm a regular mn who knows too many people in real life to post under my real mumsnet name and want this to remain a secret if i do decided to go for number 3.

but i'm seriously thinking about having a 3rd baby, but lots puts me off, like money, needing new car, bigger house, work, nursery.

have just got on a nice even keel now dc2 is nearly 3 but the cluckiness is still there

so tell me why 3 is the magic number.

I have 3 and I consantly look at her and think I've never regretted having her! Whereas dd1 and dd2 were much bigger shocks!

3rd just has to fit in and fits in easily, as others have said with regards car, house etc.

(just have to persuade dh to go for 4 now )

well....for me....

1 was a doddle......I was a nursery nurse so had lots of practise and found it exceedingly easy (and I was rather too smug about it too).

2 was a shock, as I had nannied twins and thought it would be the same......it sooooooo wasn't!!

3 was simple. knew the down points and had plans to make them easy, knew the up points and planned more of them, and we all settlled easily. of course tho, it was another girls who was pretty and played nicely (unlike my friends boys), and I got insufferably smug about my child rearing abilities.......

4 a huge shock....well, it was a boy.(and I was cursed blessed with him by my friends praying for my come-up-ance!)

5.......he was great, and as I was very ill, it all was made easy as I had lots of care and so got introduced slower than being shoved straight in. OH, and of course, DS2 was the sweetest and easiest boy in the world........

(until he hit 1 and copied his brother)
