Baby poop has changed

Hiya, I want to talk poo! 💩 my baby is 12weeks old and ebf.

Her poops used to be standard yellow and seedy and always at least 2 or 3 times per day, up to 5 a day could be normal for her.

This past week her pooping has changed to 1 time per day then every other day, then she went 2 days without pooping! When she goes now it is kinda thick in texture, a bit more like paste consistency and darker in colour like a very light orange colour, rather than the bright yellow that it used to be.

She doesn't seem in pain or uncomfortable with her belly, it just seems a very sudden change and I'm wondering if it's normal! Have googled obvs, but can't find anything useful.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yep, dry normal to change as she gets older.
Are you still having plenty to drink ? And remember that what you eat affects her bowels.

Totally normal. DD's changed around this age in a very similar way. I think her record was 12 days.

Just make sure you take plenty of wipes and a complete change of clothes for her wherever you go Wink

Normal... and it will go through a variety of colours and textures over the next couple of years.

I haven't been drinking as much water now that the weather is cooler 🤔 will try and drink more. 👍🏼

My diet hasn't changed, I'm veggie and eat pretty healthily.
