My son is only 10 but he's wanting to spread his wings and go out with his mates, I'd like to keep tabs on him purely because he's adhd/autistic and a mobile phone seems reasonable if ever anything happens or I need him home, any suggestions would be really greatful, nothing to expensive and good enough for him to have WiFi on ect.

I haven't a clue 🙈

We bought very cheap phones as their first phone with the promise that if they looked after it then they could have a nicer phone after a year.

CEX are usually good for secondhand ones and they usually come with a guarantee.

Whichever one you choose, make sure you set him is as a child account and you are able to approve (or not) apps and switch it off if you have to.

I don’t think you should be presenting a mobile phone as a toy to a 10 year old autistic child

@WellIdontknowwhattocallmyself did you read what I actually wrote or just assumed I'm buying him a phone to play with?. It's for contact, when he's playing outdoors so I can see and know were he is. Cheers for the assumption though.
