Food processor or blender? Recommendations

Hi,

Im currently weaning my baby and need a food processor or blender to blend thicker ingredients that contain meat or flour etc

Can anyone recommend an appliance for this? I don't want a huge appliance, the smaller and more compact the better to store.

Any help would be appreciated

@Lammveg do you know if this would work for meat and flour based ingredients? I broke a similar one to this today as it overheated

Something like this. The food processor part is quite powerful and works well on most stuff. Useful for lots of other stuff beyond baby food (pesto, curry paste, chopping stuff finely etc)

@wishIwasonholiday10 would it do meat or thick ingredients like flour based?

I used a Sainsbury's Basics stick blender for DC1. DC2 decided they wouldn't eat purées fairly early on.

Works with meat, have used it with chicken and lamb. Won't give you a totally smooth puree though. Not sure about flour based stuff.

I'd recommend not constantly blending for more than 30 seconds to avoid overheating but I've not had to use it longer than that anyway.
