Scabies in nursery

My friend told me she was talking to someone who's child has scabies, and told them what nursery they go too, it's same nursery my child goes to, child is similar age aswell, however the parent never informed the nursery about it, what would you do in a situation like this

I'd tell the nursery about it. Not name names but tell them..it's highly contagious .

Recently we got email saying 2 confirmed cases in my son's and now im.gpimg to as precaution treat us and not send him.in untill after Oct holidays.

Others don't have a choice and have to work. But it's awful thing to catch

What you do in end?

I rang the nursery and didn't name any names, but they said they hadn't been informed about it, I kept my child off for one day but couldn't keep them off any longer.

Glad to hear nothing more came from it though. I decided to send my son into nursery today . They emailed me reassuring ms it isn't an outbreak. Let the anxiety settle I think .

Hi my 3 year old just started nursery in a school one, I’ve booked a holiday from last year in February to go this year June is it ok to take my daughter out for a week or would the school not be ok with it.

Hi everyone bit worried, I was brushing my daughter hair and I found a brown mark/spot on her scalp that wasn’t there in the morning as i always look for anything just incase but this mark is worrying me, till I get appointment at the doctors, what do you guys think it is.

You should have named the parent / child. It's awful they haven't told the nursery. Scabies is incredibly contagious and can cause all kinds of follow on conditions / infections.
