Help! Meal time problems!

DS is 15m and is in the process of pushing all of his canine teeth through and has become incredibly fussy with his food. He will only eat wheetabix, Ella's pouches, yoghurt and beans on toast. He even turns his nose up banana 50% of the time! I'm struggling to know what the right thing to do is. It took me aggggeeesss to get DC1 out of the fussy beige eating period and I'm worried DC2 will slip into this and I'll do the wrong going with just giving him the same basic foods to eat. He is a big boy with no health concerns so he won't starve. I've always had the eat or don't eat approach but always gave at least 2 easy meals a day and then one meal that would slightly challenge them ie chunky veg in a pasta sauce or a new flavour. My 3 year old understands this very well so I feel like she'll think I'm showing favouritism if I let DS eat what he likes. She's too young to understand about teething etc. What should I do and how should I handle this? I'm just still so worried about getting it wrong nearly 4 years into parenting!!!
