Books for two year old birthday?

Hiya! I’d like to get my friends son a small birthday gift, ie under £10. I was thinking a book. He is turning two. I only have a baby who currently loves the “where’s mr…lion/unicorn” lift the flap books.

Not sure if they outgrow these flap books by two and if anyone has any classic or great books for a two year old?

My DD loves any Janet and Allan Ahlberg books. Also the Julia Donaldson/Axel Scheffler books!

I ran a playgroup for many years and these were constant favourites.

2 year olds like open the flap books too 😊 books my 2 year old likes are:

Hairy Maclairy from Donaldson's Dairy by Lynley Dodd

Where's Spot? By Eric Hill

Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose by Julia Donaldson

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Really helpful. Embarrassed to stay that I’m hopeless with ages above my Dc’s age so that’s a great help!!
