I love my ds. He is a little ray of sunshine. A total sweetiepie. And 2. And he seems to want to get hurt! He throws himself off the sofa arms outstretched, goes full tilt round the park, and tries to smash things, never sits still, not even for a second, wants to playfight all the time and never ever wants to sit still and listen to a story or look at a book with me. He is always getting banged, bruises despite my constant supervision. Now he has bruised his darling little head again, its not serious, and he grazed his knees today in the park. Its making me into a nervous wreck!

What do I do? Buy a straightjacket?

My dd was nothing like this, She loved my stories, and helping me make cakes etc etc. ds just wants to throw the flour over my head and laugh.

help.

oh, so its normal behaviour then if at least two others can confirm. Although ds has taken to jumping off the bed and out of his cot now too.

Yes the cot is no longer useable since he climbs up the bars and launches himself onto my bed....He managed to use the sofa as a step to get onto the breakfast bar and try and jump off while i go running trying to catch him.

So its not just me..good...I think...actually..no, shattered nerves are not a good look (I am constantly windswept nowadays due to running everywhere)
