Hi all

Recently I noticed my newborn who's 4 weeks left eye turn inwards (and sometimes both) when focusing on something or my face or eg.
Not noticed any other time the eyes work together otherwise. Not noticed this before in other my other kids.
I know it can be normal under 3 months but has anyone experienced their LOs like this and can you please tell me the outcome?

Thanks in advance

DS did it with one eye. We got referred to the Hospital who said that his eye muscles would probably strengthen as he got older and they did. He grew out of it pretty quickly.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know how long it took to go away? X

Oh I see. I thought it was meant to be gone by 3 months? It's ok if it's longer?

We had been referred to the Hospital by the HV. If you're in the UK I'd ask your HV to have a look at your LO and their Squint to see if they need referring Wink

Normal when they're that little. Just monitor it and discuss with your health visitor if you remain concerned.
