mt Grandchildren have been removed by by sons ex partner to live 300 miles away
there is no court order or child arrangement order in place
he is providing financially for his three children and maintaining contact by driving to see them every weekend .
the mother is being difficult - demanding more money that they agreed (£400) and insisting that he buys additional items
he does provide for e children / buying them clothes / toys / days out etc etc

he has tried to maintain close contact with the children but this is made impossible because every time he says “no” to one of her demands she blocks him on the mobile and social media messaging

is it appropriate to tl
tje children that he has been blocked ( ages 6 and 5)
he is always careful not to bad mouth the mother or speak negatively about her

I am advising him to take it to mediation but we don’t think she will cooperate and then court?

he is concerned becaus the children access unsuitable socoal
media , are often left in the care of their 14 year old brother whilst she goes out socialising

my son is waking the tightrope between being a good dad and toeing the line so as not to cause more anger and disruption

both children have said they what to come and live back with their dad but he feels he would never win a custody case and initiating one would cause enormous trouble

he feels like he is being alienated from his kids
