Help the future days

Recently decided to take a couple days out of the week to implement something extra into evening routine with DC.

Adjust to age appropriate cognitive abilities.

Eventually I will make this once a week probably on a Friday to reflect on the week.

On these days have DC reflect on their day and write down their favorite memory from the day (This can double as bonding time with you also 💜). Then have them take their paper and put it in a box/jar whatever you choose designated to this. When they are having bad days revisit this box!

I then thought this would be so adorable if I labeled these boxes by grade and keep them as keepsakes!

Has anyone done something similar?

Nice idea but I would remember twice then forget! Instead we do "pit and peak" every dinner time. We all tell our worse and best bit of the day. I really like it.

I love that! I ask about their day when they get home from school but it feels a bit rushed. I love that your family has space to process it ! 💜
