NC for this but long time poster.

So I have a 4 month old. I also have a 6 year old and a husband.

6 year old has covid. I am CEV and EBF the baby so we made the decision for DH to isolate with the 6 year old to try in some vain hope that I won't catch the covid.
I know I shouldn't complain as it's in theory for my benefit. But I am bloody exhausted. Them isolating means me doing literally everything for everyone and endless running up and down stairs with food etc. Plus looking after the baby who refuses to sleep. She's normally not that bad but has decided this is the week to be a total dick about sleeping.

I'm so tired I can barely function and feel sick. I hate covid. So much.

Poor you, sounds awful and lonely! Could you not isolate from them and DH bring you food etc. as long as he’s disinfecting everything?

An unnatural tiredness was my first clue l might have Covid. Wanted to lie down in the street as felt so tired walking home. So maybe do a test. Then everyone can look after you as dh should be coming out of it.

Thanks for the replies.
So good news - my 6 year old tested negative today so she's out of isolation and back with me 🥰 obviously the down side to this is that I now have both children to look after and still all the jobs to do and no DH. I even emptied the kitchen bin today for the first time in our married life 🤣 After isolating with DD since Friday, poor DH finally succumbed to covid yesterday and is poorly today in bed.
Kids are both in bed so im trying to catch up on the washing and cleaning. To add insult to injury its my birthday! Can't wait until this ordeal is over.
