Just a fussy baby?

My 4 month old for the past month or so has just been so fussy! In the day time she just has to be constantly entertained otherwise she cries. If she’s sat with you she’s okay! She’s always been quite an alert and motivated baby, she started rolling just before 3 months and started social smiling and looking around at 4 Weeks! She’s super interested in everything which I think is some of the reason. She doesn’t nap very well at all. She does max stretches of 15 mins however sleeps 11hrs at night! She’s just so fussy and cry’s as soon as I put her down which is hard as I already have a 2 year old (who was a super chilled baby) just not sure if I’m doing something wrong

Sounds like overtired, they really fight sleep at this age you really have to work on the day naps, even if they are contact naps to start with. Lots of resettling etc. also helps if you don’t let them get too tired in the first place, or it’s harder to get them to sleep.

My biggest issue at the moment is nipples! He falls asleep and wants to just keep the end of the nipple in his mouth and tickle it. I HATE it but as soon as I pull back or remove it he wakes hunting for it and cries. I've never been able to get him to sleep without it. My husband can.

Sounds like how mine was!! I think she was a baby who didn't like being a baby! Once she started eating and crawling etc, she was so much better!! Now she's 11 months, she can be pretty chilled out, but still has her moments 🥴🤣🤣
