Anal fissure for 15month old

My 15month old has anal fissure and gets blood on his stool. He is in a lot of pain when pooing. Gp prescribed Lactulose which did not help as it just made his tummy very upset, along with windy and pain and as a result had to stop. What can I do to heal the fissure?

Honestly, the only thing that heals it up is to soften the poo. Might be worth trying movicol, instead of lactulose.
