Buy used soft toys?

Are you happy to buy your LO used soft toys?

My son is really into The Gruffalo at the moment and would love the collect of soft toys to go with his book but at around £15 each they are quite expensive and it's much cheaper to buy them in good used condition.
Would you be concerned about cleanliness of used soft toys?

Hm. For some reason I probably wouldn’t buy used soft toys but other toys I’d be fine with. Not sure why though because the toys at playgroups are gross and I don’t think twice.

Absolutely no reason not to buy Preloved soft toys. You can always chuck them in the washing machine if you're concerned about how clean they are.

I think it's fine but I would wash them before giving them to DC to play with.

I never did but I guess if they are in good condition and can be washed it will be ok.

I know a lot of charities etc won't accept them but maybe on an individual basis if you can see what's on offer if would be ok?

Nope, I wouldn’t be concerned - though I’d rather see / sniff them first rather than buying online. Generally though soft toys getting sold online are likely to be ones bought and then just left in a corner so good chance they’d be in great condition.
