I've gone from having the happiest, smiliest, chilled out baby to a teething, frustrated, refusing all day time naps and refusing feeds baby in a week.
I feel so sorry for her because she's angrily biting everything she can get her hands on, I'm doing teethers, teething granules, teething gel, ibuprofen and calpol when she really won't settle.
She's only drinking half of what she usually does and I'm so worried. Called 111 yesterday as she is having little wet nappies compared to normal and they made an appt to see my GP this morning. She wasn't worried and said as long as she's drinking half that's fine.
It's got the point where I'm seriously considering weaning a little early in a couple of weeks. It's hard to know whether she doesn't want the milk because she's in pain with her gums or if she's gone off milk. My Mum had to early weaning me on the advice of the Dr as I started refusing bottles at 4 months too. My friends DS did the same.
She screams from about 6:30pm after a bath until I've rocked her and cuddled her and offered her a bottle to fall asleep and I put her in her cot at 7pm. I try and dream feed her at 9:30pm and midnight just to get a few extra oz's in her.
She wakes up every 2 hours throughout the night crying for her dummy. I've offered feeds thinking she might be hungry but she pushes the bottle away and starts screaming.
I feel so sorry for her. How long did your little one's sleep regressions last for? Any tips?
