How do I heat up Alpro Toddler Oat Milk? CMPA baby

My boy has just turned one, today in fact! He has CMPA so we were advised to transition onto toddler oat milk when he turns one and I’ve been doing so (slowly, 1oz oat milk 9oz prescription, next bottle 2oz & 8oz prescription and so on) and been doing it in the microwave. Measuring out how many then popping it into a mug and heating for a minute stopping every 10-20 seconds or so and giving it a stir.
is there a correct way to heat up the Alpro toddler oat milk? I feel that i’m somehow doing it wrong by heating in the microwave.
We do own the MAM bottle warmer and steriliser, but I just started doing it in the microwave as it was quicker.
TIA!

Microwave is fine, it’s only powdered formula that needs really careful handling. Just make sure it’s well stirred to prevent hot spots, and check the bottle isn’t too hot before you give it to him.

Thank you! i wasn’t sure if the microwave would make it thicker or anything somehow.
I don’t make it too hot just enough to make it a little warm, but I always check on my wrist before giving it to him! Thanks again 😊

My cmpa children have both had growing up oat milk and to be honest I’ve never warmed it up, except v occasionally to
make hot chocolate with it and then I used the microwave. I give it straight from the fridge in a sippy cup. It might be worth trying that to see if he’ll take it as it is much less faff for you long term if he enjoys cold milk!
