Trains and pushchairs stress

had the most scariest experience today, remember ladies to always get off train backwards! Went off forward stupidly as it was busy and wasn’t room to turn around and my front wheels got stuck getting off the train between the platform. Luckily my little one was strapped well in but if she wasn’t she could have fell forward. People on the platform came and helped, so bad no one even offered in the first place. Anyway baby is absolutely fine I just feel shaken up and feel terrible, has this happened to anyone before? Feel like I won’t ever go on a train again now

And bus as well!! Once I saw a grandma get off forward and she fell on top of pushchair and broke her arm.
Always backwards!

Sometimes the train is too crowded to turn the buggy around. When I can't go backwards I find it's safer to lift the whole buggy off with dc in it. Use a lightweight buggy for travel that you can lift by yourself then you won't have to depend on other people. There are some big gaps between the train and platform in London (big enough for an adult to fall down).
