Spotted a bite on my 8 week old baby on Saturday . At the time it Looked like a pin prick with a perfectly red circle swelling around it. I thought it was some kind of bite/sting so have kept an eye on it.
Have sent this photo to GP today who has prescribed steroid cream twice a day. As you can see, some of the skin has peeled back and broken and now scabbed over again. It’s not hot to touch so I assume it’s just healing rather than infected but what could this be from? A bee? A spider? I feel like a terrible Mum.
