Strategies to deal with challenging 8 year old

I'm at the end of my tether with my daughter

She is very head strong and stubborn and I feel like I have no control over her. Same for my husband and grandparents

Can anyone recommend any helpful books or tv programs to watch?

She doesn't listen or do anything she's asked, from getting dressed to homework. I counted that I asked her to get dressed 32 times on Friday morning. It's the same for every single thing we ask her

Homework battles are awful and result in her screaming and crying

We've had a terrible day today with her and I feel so fed up and exhausted from it

How does she respond when you tell her it's time to get dressed? Does she ignore you? Argue back? Sulk?

Does this just happen for school or is it every day?

What routine is she used to? Any recent changes in her life?

We got the book 'Calmer, Easier, Happier parenting'. We found it really helpful in dealing with a tricky ds1

Moonlight she will just ignore and carry doing what she wants. It's every day of the week with most tasks, unless it's something she wants to do

I've been reading 'when the parents change' and honestly just adding in little bits of it at home with mine has been amazing.
Also calm parents happy kids or calm parents calm children (something like that)
