DS is 3 years old and has just started in a school nursery. He hasn't been to a private nursery before this, just been with grandparents & auntie whilst i worked. Really outgoing, loves making friends etc.
1st week of nursery was a staggered start and he was great, no tears and didn't cry when I left.
Just done 2nd week of nursery, and he's started crying at drop off. Mon & Tues he had teary moments during the morning at nursery, then Wed - Fri he's been screaming bloody murder at drop off, but fine as soon as he entered the nursery and was fine throughout the morning at nursery, he even decided to stay a full day on the Thursday on his own accord. But I still can't stop worrying about the drop off and it's already making me feel stressed about Monday.
Will it stop anytime soon? Does anyone have any tips? I've talked to him positively about nursery, not shown him it's upset me dropping him off etc and done a swift 'drop and go' exit each time.
