Nursery bag - 10 month old what do I need?

Baby is due to start nursery soon.

I can’t remember exactly but I’m pretty sure I need to provide milk and nappies etc.

what else should be in the bag for baby at nursery? Also what bag or type of bag did you use? Did you get a backpack or a specific type or just use the nappy changing bag?

We had to provide:

• Change of clothes
• Outdoor gear (they went out even in the rain)
• Sleeping bag for naps
• calpol

That I just put in a tote bag I had lying around and it lived in nursery. Nappies and wipes I handed over to packets and they gave me a heads up when they ran out.

Think the previous poster has covered eveything I thought of but I'd also add nappy cream and as we head into winter just make sure there's a hat and gloves for when they go outside.

Ask your nursery when you have the induction. Mine requires lots of spare clothes, a bottle, dummies (if using), sleeping bag for naps and in summer sun hat and swimwear for water play (and I assume outdoor wear for winter). We have a medium sized backpack and it mostly stays at nursery except for when the clothes need replenishing.

Just a heads up lots of nurseries stipulate no drawstring bags for safety.

Lots of spare clothes- more than you think you'd need!

Weather appropriate outdoor wear- so warm layers, waterproofs, hat, wellies if they can walk. We ask for waterproof foot covers for non walkers. Also bear in mind that thin all in one suits aren't actually waterproof, more shower proof, so if they sit down it soaks right through!

Then sun hat and sun cream in the summer.

Label everything!

Check ether you need to supply nappies, wipes, nappy creams.
