Red patches dry skin

Hi all

My 10 month old has little patch on her face and back, dry skin. Been there a week, the pharmacist told us to take her into Thier clinic and gave us epiderm junior cream, it doesn't seem to be doing anything though. Any ideas what this could be? Baby eczema? Should I book a GP appointment? I never had this with ds so any advice would be great! She is fine in herself and everything

Thank you

My daughter had something similar. She ended up covered from head to toe As I kept being told to "wait and see" 🙄.

I ended up taking her to a dermatologist who confirmed eczema. I was told to buy:

  1. Qv bath oil and to pop her in the bath to soak in the oil daily;
  2. Use heavy cream (epaderm) constantly.

We were also given steriods to get things under control.

Sorry. Do go to the GP if it isn't going away
