7 months pregnant with a 3 year old

A 3.5 year old going through MAJOR changes, pushing boundaries constantly and demanding my attention 24/7

I must “watch” everything he wants me to, play whatever he wants and I feel guilty because I took him to soft play today as a surprise and was physically unable to climb around with him. I tried, and did my hip in. All he wanted was for me to play with him.

As I type this he’s shouting at me to watch, watch mummy, mummy please watch! … and just slamming a cupboard door shut repeatedly. 😐

Anyone else going through this?

I'd set very clear boundaries for stuff like this.

Tell him what will happen in order through the day, constantly go over it. Make sure he knows that there will be definitely be time for you to play with him, but there will also be times when he needs to entertain himself. Make sure he knows in advance what is expected.

Also, have as many playdates as possible so he has other children to play with and give you some time off!
