DS is just turned 4 and in reception, he is a sensitive soul and I worry about him.
Today he said "you're fat" to me. I explained that wasn't a nice thing to say and asked where he heard it. Initially he said he didn't know but later said a boy in his class said it to him. Should I message the teacher on see saw about it as I would be concerned the boy is picking on DS. Or should I just leave it and speak to DS about best way to respond - tell him it's not nice to say and tell the teacher?

I'd leave it. It doesn't sound like DS was that bothered about it. Four year olds say stupid stuff to each other, you'll end up with the teacher on speed dial if you complain everytime a four year old says something that's not ideal!
