I know some of you may be against hearing the C word before Halloween but this will be my babies first Christmas (she will be nearly 10 months old) and I want to start getting buying presents now. As a FTM I'm not really sure what to get.

What do your 10 month olds enjoy playing with or what would you recommend?

My DS has just turned ten months and he loves:
Busy board book
Ball
Box of blocks
Board books (his fave - we have loads)
Music box
Bath toys

For Christmas, he'll be 13 months and we're getting him
Jigsaw in a bag (wooden block pieces)
Balance bike
Dressing gown for after bath
A couple more books

The Magic Toy Shop Kids Baby Nesting & Stacking Colourful Blocks Set with Numbers, Animals, Shapes & Colors, Stack up to 87 cm / 34 inches https://amzn.eu/d/1nKKbOn

This has been bought for various nieces and nephews for their first Xmas after my dd received them for hers at 6 months. Massive hit and they lasted for years.

Dd2 will be 9 months. She’s getting a foam ball pit with balls, two sensory Teddy toys, pj set, blanket with a matching hat and socks.

I got mine a really nice nursery rhyme book and wrote inside the cover a little note. I've still got mine from my parents for my 1st Christmas! 🥰
Also got a 'My First Christmas' tree decoration - my DH still has his! 🥰
And a few small toys for the stocking like sensory balls/things that roll because baby loved to chase after them crawling and a pack of socks in the next size up.

There's a Christmas section OP where the Christmas elves will help you with Christmas dilemmas

My boy will be 10 months too. I am trying not to go crazy and thinking of what to give him for his birthday in feb so not all at once

i love Xmas so nearly done his 🤣 so far I have a little rucksack with his name on as he will use for nursery, some mega blocks, a linkimals toy thing, a pop up tunnel to crawl through (hoping he will be by then), a bouncy hopper thing and some books and bath toys. Plus clothes for the next year he would need anyway. To be fair gifts are fairly cheap for them apart from clothes!

@BoohooWoohoo thanks for the heads up! I've just posted in there too ☺️

@Tiredmamma123 a rucksack is a great idea as my little one will be starting nursery after Christmas 😪 a pop up tunnel sounds good too!
