7 month old turning in cot

Hi7 month old recently moved into own room in a cot bed

was previously in a next to me but outgrew it

baby keeps turnin the night and ends up sleeping across rather than down the bed. Sometimes wakes up from it. Recently figured out turning a lot more. Is this normal? Will it all settle down when he is used to the bed more?

Once my kids could roll over easily they always slept face down, bum up! Also sideways and all over the place.

It’s pretty normal for kids to find their own comfortable position.

Yes quite normal! Dd used to wedge herself into a corner to sleep. As long as there’s nothing in the cot with them it’s fine.

Totally normal. None of mine learnt to sleep in a 'normal' sleeping position til they moved to a bed with a pillow and duvet
