My nearly 3 year old has suddenly started to behave different. He's loved the same toddler group for ages but his grandparents took him and he sat on a chair refusing to move. Next time I took him and he kept saying 'leave'. At nursery drop off if I do it, he will scream for me but if dad does it he runs in really happy, but he used to go in fine for me.
I'm not sure if he has separation anxiety as at home he isn't clingy to me or if we're out at the shops etc Hes fine. And he let's dad and grandparents do everything I would do too. The only thing at home is he will cling to me amd won't let me put him down in cot he just wants to cuddle the life out of me but if his dad does it then he lies down fine.
I really don't think it's separation anxiety as he wouldn't play at the toddler group he loves even with his grandparents!
Anyone had similar?
