What are your thoughts? What has been your experience with family court? I’m right at the beginning of the process so this really caught my attention

My ex was controlling, watch child porn and wanted 50/50 custody. I offered supervised contact and supervised telephone contact...all of which he declined. I stressed to the court that I in no way sought to poison my kids against their father. The family court ordered the children live with me and he was granted what I had offered. The fact I had never sought to deny him contact, merely protect my kids, meant his arguments of parental alienation fell flat.

Sounds like you did a great job in court. I’m hearing some real horror stories.
